Advanced Diploma in Accounting & Business
Advanced Diploma in Accounting & Business helps you to acquire a wide ranging and responsible accounting role in a small to medium size organisation. It can be a financial reporting and /or financial decision-support role, possibly in a supervisory role within an accounting department of a larger organisation.
This qualification helps to build a financial supervisory or management role in accounts payables and /or receivables, or a financial role in fixed asset accounting or financial shared service centres and even an accounting technician role in a commercial organisation.
Course Objectives
- A substantial emphasis on forecasting/budgeting, cash flow management, accounting for transactions, cost analysis, governance, and performance and financial management develops the most highly relevant skills for an organisation.
- This enable your employees to build on their financial reporting knowledge and meet the requirements of International Financial Reporting Standards.
- Those who complete the Advanced Diploma will be in a strong position to progress further and complete the ACCA Qualification
Who is it For?
You can start your Advanced Diploma in Accounting & Business soon after your completion of Diploma in Accounting & Business or from the very scratch if you have:
- Five secondary school qualifications (two A-Levels and three GCSEs or equivalent) – including English and maths.

What if you have a Degree ?
If you have a recognised and relevant finance or accounting degree from an ACCA-accredited university, you may not have to take all of the exams on your journey to membership. We call this “getting exemptions”.
Even if you didn’t study at an accredited university, you may still be eligible for exemptions – depending on what you’ve already studied.
What if you don't have the Qualifications we ask for ?
You can still join us – but you’ll start your ACCA journey at our Foundations in Accountancy level. This will give you the base you need to learn more – and you’ll get our Diploma in Accounting and Business when you pass. Then you can start your journey to gaining the ACCA Qualification.
And because of what you’ll learn in your Diploma, you won’t have to take the first three exams – you’ll start at F4.
